Trooper is a fun and playful guy! He is very sweet and affectionate to his people. He loves toys, treats, and running around the yard. He enjoys fetching the ball, receiving belly rubs, and prefers playing with the lady dogs over males. Trooper is currently going through some training and working on his manners and because of this, he would do best in a home with no young children. He will need further training once he is in a new home to help him settle and adjust. This handsome guy walks well on a leash, is starting crate training, and is working on potty training. Could you be Troopers next best friend?
Trooper is two years old and weighs 57 pounds.
Trooper’s adoption fee is $200; he microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Trooper, please complete an online adoption application. https://www.
Trooper has heartworms and will be starting treatment soon. He would greatly benefit from having a quiet home to recuperate in rather than trying to rest in a noisy and stressful shelter environment. If you would like to provide a foster home, or foster-to-adopt home, during his heartworm treatment, Helping Strays will provide everything you need; the medical care, crate, food, etc. Foster-to-adopt would be a great way to get to know Trooper. Finalizing the adoption would be done once treatment is complete.
