Hi, I’m Caleb! I am a little shy when you first meet me, but once I warm up I like to stay by my people. I enjoy walks, hiking in the woods, laying in the nice cool water on a hot day, and getting pets. I am a nice guy and just looking for somewhere to call home. I love to explore and can jump pretty high so I will need a tall fence to keep me safe. I like having all the love and affection to myself, but I wouldn’t mind sharing it with a doggie sister. Will you give me my forever home?
Caleb is two years old and weighs 54 pounds. He is a sweet, shy boy and would do well with a strong leader to help him build confidence and enjoy the finer things in life.
Caleb’s adoption fee is $250; he is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting Caleb, please complete an online adoption application. Click the “Adopt Me” button below for an online application.
Caleb has heartworms and will be starting treatment soon. He would greatly benefit from having a quiet home to recuperate in rather than trying to rest in a noisy and stressful shelter environment. If you would like to provide a foster home, or foster-to-adopt home, during Caleb’s heartworm treatment, Helping Strays will provide everything you need; the medical care, crate, food, etc. Foster-to-adopt would be a great way to get to know him. Finalizing the adoption would be done once treatment is complete.
